Fundal Height Calculator
Estimate expected fundal height (in cm) for any week of pregnancy between 20 and 36 weeks.
What is Fundal Height?
Fundal height is the distance in centimetres from the pubic bone to the top of the uterus. Between 20 and 36 weeks of pregnancy, the measurement in centimetres approximately matches the gestational age in weeks. Persistent deviations of more than 2–3 cm warrant ultrasound to rule out growth restriction or excess.
How is it calculated?
From week 20 to 36, expected fundal height (cm) ≈ weeks of gestation. Outside this window other estimation methods are used.
